DERMAPLANING TREATMENTS - WHAT IS DERMAPLANING AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment that is used to remove the top layer of dead skin cells, as well as fine peach fuzz, also known as vellus hair, from the face. It also helps to create an even surface for makeup application and improves the look of acne scars and wrinkles. At Sanctuary Skin, we use a sterile medical-grade surgical blade to gently scrape away dead skin cells and hair for a smoother complexion.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DERMAPLANING?
The benefits of dermaplaning include smoother skin, improved product absorption and reduced redness. This treatment can also help to reduce the appearance of acne scars, wrinkles and fine lines as well as peach fuzz. Microcurrent’s primary function in esthetics is to lift and tone the skin and its muscular structure.
